Fascia

Fascia

  • Web-like “fabric” that surrounds all bones, muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, organs, etc

  • It interprets and expresses whole body communication and movement, including pain detection, proprioception, tension, circulation and nervous system regulation

Influenced By

  • Poor postural habits, repetitive movements, stress, tension, limited movement, injury, dehydration, gravity, etc

  • Healthy Fascia relies on movement and hydration. Otherwise it compresses, leading to less efficient movement and function

FST

Fascial Stretch Therapy is a pain free, assisted stretch method like you've never experienced before.

The Neuromyofascial approach (brain, muscle, & tissue) addresses the body in its entirety, allowing the therapist to customize each and every session to your individual needs.

This style of stretch incorporates gentle traction and small wave-like movements to access all tissue (from joint capsule to surface level.) in hopes to decompress, ease, and restore your body for optimal movement.
